Tirante enters as the clear favorite in this Cincinnati Open first-round match on hard courts, with traders assigning him roughly 60-65% implied probability based on his ATP ranking of 65 versus Choinski's 77 and stronger recent hard-court results. Tirante arrives with momentum from a strong Montreal Masters run that included wins over top players like Taylor Fritz and Alexei Popyrin. Choinski, who peaked at a career-high 75 earlier in 2026, has posted solid recent form with multiple Challenger titles and strong win streaks, though much of that success came on clay. The pair's 2-1 head-to-head favors Choinski, but all prior meetings occurred on clay, limiting its relevance here. No injury concerns have surfaced for either player ahead of the August 13 matchup.
