Abedallah Shelbayh holds a significant ranking advantage at No. 253 over Ryan Seggerman at No. 659 entering this Winston-Salem Open qualifying opener on hard courts. The 22-year-old Jordanian brings recent Challenger experience, including a 2025 title and consistent hard-court results, while the 27-year-old American Seggerman has focused more on doubles with an ATP title earlier in 2026. No prior head-to-head exists, but Shelbayh's left-handed game and fresher match play from recent events like Cancun position him as the consensus favorite among traders. Both seek main-draw spots ahead of the US Open, where surface speed and early-round recovery will factor into the outcome.
