Dino Prizmic enters the Winston-Salem Open first-round matchup as the clear favorite against wildcard Cruz Hewitt, reflecting the substantial gap in ATP experience and current form. The Croatian, ranked near 100 with a 13-10 record in 2026 and prior wins over players like Novak Djokovic, brings consistent hard-court results and multiple tour-level appearances this season. Hewitt, the 17-year-old Australian ranked outside the top 350, earned his first ATP victory in Washington in July but has otherwise competed mainly at Challenger and junior levels. The hard-court setting and Prizmic’s superior recent scheduling depth reinforce trader consensus around an 80-85% implied probability for the higher-ranked player, though Hewitt’s youth and potential for improvement remain the primary variables that could influence a closer contest.
