Dmitry Popko enters the Florence Challenger qualifying round on red clay as the clear favorite against 19-year-old Italian Daniele Rapagnetta, with traders pricing his win probability substantially higher based on ranking, experience, and recent results. The 29-year-old Kazakh holds a career-high ranking of 155 and sits at No. 495 after compiling a 38-14 record in 2026, including multiple ITF clay titles and a strong 65% career win rate on the surface. Popko has won nine of his last 10 matches, demonstrating consistent service hold and break-point conversion. Rapagnetta, ranked No. 629, owns a 26-22 mark this season but has struggled against stronger opposition in recent Challenger and ITF events, exiting early in his prior outings. With no prior head-to-head meetings, the matchup highlights Popko’s depth of professional experience and clay-court form against the younger player’s limited results at this level.
