Inaki Montes de la Torre holds the clear edge in the Roehampton 2 Challenger first-round matchup against Gabi Adrian Boitan, reflecting his higher ATP ranking near 275 versus Boitan’s position outside the top 400. Montes has shown consistent Challenger-level results on varying surfaces this summer, including recent wins that bolster his grass-court adaptation in the UK event. Boitan enters with limited recent success at this level, highlighted by early exits and a lower win rate in 2026. Head-to-head data remains sparse, leaving surface-specific form, fitness from the tournament schedule, and potential serve-volley adjustments on grass as primary variables that could influence the outcome in this closely contested early-round encounter.
