Elmer Moeller, the seventh seed ranked around No. 170, faces Maks Kasnikowski (No. 258) in the first round of the Rafa Nadal Open Challenger 75 on hard courts in Manacor. The players have no prior head-to-head record. Moeller holds the ranking edge and enters after a mixed 2026 season that included strong clay results but early exits in hardcourt events such as Roehampton and US Open qualifying. Kasnikowski arrives with limited recent match play and four losses in his prior five outings. Surface adaptation remains central, as Moeller’s historical preference for clay contrasts with Kasnikowski’s solid hardcourt results in lower-tier events. The matchup opens on September 2.
