Clement Chidekh enters the Kingston 1 Challenger round-of-16 matchup as the slight favorite, reflecting his higher ATP ranking near 205 and stronger 2026 results that include multiple Challenger titles. The Frenchman advanced with a three-set win over Jay Clarke and benefits from greater experience on the circuit compared to Kenta Miyoshi, who sits at world No. 495. Miyoshi, a 22-year-old Japanese player, has shown competitive form in the event by rallying past Roger Pascual Ferra in three sets and securing a straight-sets victory over Arklon Huertas Del Pino Cordova, though his lower ranking and limited Challenger pedigree create a meaningful gap. Both players enter on recent wins, with no prior head-to-head history and standard hard-court conditions expected to play a neutral role. Trader pricing captures Chidekh’s edge while acknowledging Miyoshi’s upset potential in a closely contested draw.
