Soon-Woo Kwon enters this US Open qualifying first-round match on hard courts with stronger recent momentum, posting multiple wins across North American hard-court challengers in Lexington and Quebec City after reaching the Wimbledon main draw earlier in 2026. The 28-year-old, ranked near No. 150, holds a 2-0 head-to-head edge over Lajovic and benefits from superior recent hard-court results.
