Moise Kouame enters the first-round matchup at the ATP Challenger 50 in Phan Thiet as the top seed and world No. 200, riding strong recent form that includes a third-round run at Roland-Garros 2026 and a Futures title earlier in the year. The 17-year-old Frenchman benefits from higher ranking points, greater experience on the professional circuit, and direct entry into the main draw under the PIF ATP Next Gen program. Kenta Miyoshi, ranked No. 467 and coming off mixed results in recent challengers including a first-round loss at Winston-Salem, faces a significant gap in level on outdoor hard courts.
