Alibek Kachmazov enters this ATP Challenger Seoul qualifying match on hard courts as the clear favorite, with trader consensus implying an 84-90% win probability based on current pricing. The 24-year-old Russian, ranked 361 after a career-high 161, has posted a strong 27-9 record in 2026 with multiple deep runs at Challenger level in China, including a recent three-set victory over Dong Ju Kim in qualifying. Woobin Shin, a 22-year-old South Korean wildcard ranked outside the top 1,000 with a peak of 438, has shown limited recent success beyond ITF events and holds a 5-5 record in his last 10 matches. The pair has no prior head-to-head history, but Kachmazov's superior experience, serve efficiency, and hard-court momentum create a significant edge despite Shin's local support.
