Cruz Hewitt enters this Phan Thiet 3 Challenger first-round hard-court match as the clear favorite due to his higher ranking at No. 354 and stronger recent results against elevated competition, including ATP-level appearances in Washington and Winston-Salem. The 17-year-old Australian has posted a 26-18 record in 2026 with solid hard-court splits and serves effectively on the surface. Constantin Bittoun Kouzmine, a 27-year-old left-hander ranked No. 433, brings greater experience and a career 60% hard-court win rate but arrives after mixed challenger results, including recent losses to players around his level. No prior head-to-head exists, and both players show comparable second-serve and return metrics in recent data, though Hewitt's youth and momentum create the primary edge reflected in trader pricing.
