Daniil Glinka, the Estonian left-hander ranked around world No. 160 after reaching a career high in mid-August, faces Swedish veteran Elias Ymer in the second round of the Kingston 1 Challenger on outdoor hard courts. This marks their first meeting. Glinka has shown steady progress through Challenger events and recent qualifying appearances at Grand Slams, while Ymer, a former top-105 player now ranked in the 175-200 range, brings greater experience but posted mixed results this season. Ymer opened the tournament with a straight-sets win over Paul Jubb. Both players compete primarily on the Challenger circuit, where baseline consistency and return play often decide tight matches on hard surfaces.
