Arthur Fils enters the Brussels second round as the clear favorite against Jaume Munar on indoor hard courts, reflecting his top-10 ranking, 37-13 record in 2026, and consistent results across Masters and ATP events. Fils holds a 3-0 head-to-head edge, including a five-set victory at the 2025 French Open, and has posted strong hard-court performances this season with efficient wins in Tokyo. Munar, ranked around 51 with a near .500 win rate, advanced past a qualifier but faces a stylistic and experience gap on this surface where Fils has historically performed well. Recent form and ranking differentials underpin the trader consensus favoring Fils, though Munar’s resilience in extended rallies could influence set outcomes if the match extends.
