Arthur Fery and Ignacio Buse meet in the Winston-Salem Open final on hard courts, both enjoying breakout 2026 campaigns that have lifted them into the top 40. Fery, the Wimbledon semifinalist and new British No. 1, brings stronger hard-court results this season and leads their head-to-head 1-0 after a straight-sets win on the surface in 2025. Buse, chasing a second ATP title after his Hamburg triumph, advanced via three-set semifinal wins but has far less main-tour experience on hard courts. Fery reached the final after an opponent retirement, while Buse fought through extended matches, creating a narrow edge in recent form and surface suitability for the Briton heading into the US Open.
