Jacob Fearnley holds the edge over Jurij Rodionov in this US Open qualifying final on outdoor hard courts, driven by his higher ranking near world No. 100 and stronger recent form. The Briton advanced with resilient wins over Roberto Carballes Baena and Luka Pavlovic, recovering from a second-set tiebreak loss in the latter to secure a straight-sets victory in the decider. Rodionov, ranked around No. 143, reached this stage via victories over Kimmer Coppejans and Frederico Ferreira Silva but trails in overall momentum and head-to-head experience at this level. With no prior meetings between the players, Fearnley's consistency on North American hard courts and serve-return balance position him as the consensus favorite, though Rodionov's left-handed game and recent qualifier success keep the match competitive. The winner earns main-draw entry.
