Benjamin Bonzi enters the Quebec City Challenger first round as the sixth seed with a career-high ranking near the top 100 and significantly more ATP-level experience than Canadian wildcard Justin Boulais. The pair meets for the first time on outdoor hard courts, where Bonzi’s stronger recent results at higher-tier events contrast with Boulais’ lower ranking and limited professional exposure. Bonzi’s 2026 singles record stands at 4-7 amid mixed form, yet traders price him as the clear favorite based on the ranking gap and tour-level pedigree. No notable injuries or late withdrawals affect the draw, keeping focus on Bonzi’s ability to control rallies and serve against a home underdog seeking an upset.
