Zizou Bergs enters the Quebec City Challenger quarterfinal as the clear favorite against Stefanos Sakellaridis on outdoor hard courts, backed by his ATP ranking of 33 and first ATP Tour title won in Eastbourne earlier in 2026. Bergs reached a career-high ranking in August and brings main-draw experience despite a recent second-round loss at the Cincinnati Open. Sakellaridis, ranked 157 after peaking at 146, arrives with strong recent challenger momentum, including a round-of-16 victory over Aleksandar Vukic, though his head-to-head record against Bergs dates to a 2023 United Cup win. The matchup favors the Belgian’s consistency and serve, while the Greek player’s aggressive baseline game offers realistic upset chances in a best-of-three format. Surface familiarity and rest advantages from the draw will influence progression to the semifinals.
