Sebastian Baez, the top seed and higher-ranked player at No. 53, enters the Cancun Challenger semifinal against qualifier Lloyd Harris on the back of two straight-set wins, including a dominant 6-4 6-0 quarterfinal victory. Harris, ranked around No. 175, arrives on a 10-match winning streak and leads their head-to-head 1-0 after a straight-sets upset on hard courts at the 2025 US Open. The hard-court surface and Harris's recent form create a closely contested matchup, reflected in near-even implied probabilities on prediction markets, though Baez's seeding and in-tournament momentum provide a baseline edge in this ATP Challenger 125 semifinal.
