The Premier League's 2026-27 runner-up market reflects a tightly contested field early in the campaign, with Manchester City and Arsenal leading at implied probabilities of 24% and 22.5% due to their established squads, depth, and historical consistency in title races. Chelsea and Liverpool follow closely behind on the back of strong recent form, key summer reinforcements, and favorable fixture schedules that keep multiple clubs within striking distance of second place. Mid-table sides like Brentford and Brighton add pressure through solid starts and momentum from prior seasons, while traditional powers such as Manchester United and Tottenham remain live contenders amid roster adjustments. This bunched pricing underscores the league's parity, where injuries, tactical shifts, and head-to-head results can rapidly alter standings before the season's later stages.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Premier League for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Premier League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Premier League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
