The 2026 Vancouver mayoral election is currently scheduled to be held on October 17, 2026. This market will resolve according to the candidate who becomes the next mayor of Vancouver as a result of this election. Temporary, interim, or placeholder mayors appointed before the election will not be considered. If the result of this election isn't known by June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting; however, if there is any ambiguity in the results, this market will resolve according to official information from Vancouver.

Ken Sim holds the leading position in trader pricing for Vancouver’s October 17 municipal election as the incumbent ABC Vancouver mayor facing a fragmented field. Recent polling shows him ahead among decided voters at around 30 percent, ahead of Green councillor Pete Fry and former chief of staff Kareem Allam, both near 19 percent, amid low approval ratings for Sim that have left over a quarter of voters undecided. Fry’s standing reflects his visibility as the primary opposition voice on council and stronger favorability in some surveys, while Allam’s support draws from name recognition tied to the current administration. Efforts by progressive parties to consolidate behind a single challenger have so far produced only the withdrawal of COPE’s Stephanie Allen, leaving Fry and OneCity’s William Azaroff in separate campaigns that traders view as likely to split the anti-incumbent vote.
