The format requires a top-eight finish for direct round-of-16 entry or a play-off berth from ninth to 24th, followed by knockout ties through March and April 2027. Upcoming fixtures on November 5 will test depth amid domestic schedules, with squad changes and form over the remaining five league games shaping seeding and advancement paths to the quarterfinals.
