Chun-Hsin Tseng enters the Zhangjiagang Challenger semifinal as the clear favorite against Kasidit Samrej on hard courts, supported by his superior ranking (No. 221 vs. No. 486), deeper experience at higher levels, and a 1-0 head-to-head edge from a 2020 straight-sets win on the same surface. Both players arrive in strong recent form after navigating the draw, with Tseng posting efficient victories including a 6-3 6-3 quarterfinal result and Samrej overcoming Bernard Tomic and others in three-setters. Tseng’s higher career peak and consistent hard-court results underpin trader consensus on his edge, while Samrej’s momentum from recent wins and home-region familiarity create limited upset potential in this ATP Challenger matchup.
