Stefanos Sakellaridis holds a significant ranking edge over Mili Poljičak heading into their Genoa Challenger first-round clash on outdoor clay. The Greek player, currently ranked No. 136 after a career-high mark in late August, brings stronger recent results including US Open qualifying appearances and a Challenger final in Québec City. Poljičak, ranked around No. 266, has shown solid ITF and lower-level Challenger form on clay this season but faces a step up in class. Both right-handers compete on a surface that rewards consistent baseline play and movement; Sakellaridis’s greater experience at higher levels and physical reach may influence extended rallies. No prior head-to-head exists between the pair, leaving recent form, fitness, and adaptation to Genoa conditions as the main variables traders are weighing.
