Only one pentakill has been recorded so far at Worlds 2026, delivered by Dplus KIA ADC Smash on Kai'Sa during the Swiss stage. Bracket-stage games on patch 26.20 emphasize coordinated teamfights and strong jungle presence with Lee Sin and Jarvan IV, alongside bot-lane carries like Ezreal and hyper carries that enable snowball potential. Remaining semifinal and final matches feature top mechanical players in high-stakes series, where aggressive picks and fight-heavy comps could produce additional pentas, though elite coordination and vision control often suppress solo performances. Historical rarity of Worlds pentakills and the shift toward balanced scaling metas continue to shape trader expectations for a low total.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the total number of pentakills recorded across all official games of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2026), currently scheduled for October 15 to November 14, 2026, is greater than or equal to the number specified in the market title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A pentakill is a single player killing all five players on the opposing team in quick succession, as announced by the game client ("PENTAKILL") and recorded in the official game statistics. Every completed official game of the tournament counts (Play-In, Swiss Stage, and Knockout Stage). Pentakills in games that are remade, abandoned, or not completed do not count. If Worlds 2026 is canceled or postponed such that it has not concluded by December 14, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve according to the number of pentakills recorded in completed official games as of that time. The primary resolution source for this market will be the tournament statistics on Leaguepedia (https://lol.fandom.com/wiki/2026_Season_World_Championship); however, official information from Riot Games (https://lolesports.com) and a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
