Jacob Fowler leads the 2026-27 Calder Trophy market at 25.5% implied probability, followed closely by Dylan Garand at 22.9% and Gavin McKenna at 18.5%, reflecting the tight early-season race among several rookies. Fowler's standout October performance—7-1-0 record, .932 save percentage, 1.84 GAA, and two shutouts as Montreal's primary netminder—has positioned him as the frontrunner per trader consensus and Rookie of the Month honors. Garand has stabilized the Rangers amid injuries with strong results, while McKenna, the No. 1 overall pick, and James Hagens post double-digit points in limited games. Additional contenders like Ivar Stenberg, Cole Hutson, and Michael Brandsegg-Nygård contribute to the bunched pricing through promising production and ice time. Small sample sizes and varying team contexts sustain the competitive dynamics across forwards, defensemen, and goaltenders.
