Recent final screen tests in late October narrowed the field to Callum Turner, Josh O’Connor, and Jack Lowden, driving the current market-implied odds that place Turner in the lead. Endorsements from Pierce Brosnan and George Clooney, combined with Turner’s established screen presence in projects like Masters of the Air, have boosted trader consensus around his suitability for the franchise under Amazon MGM and director Denis Villeneuve. O’Connor’s strong critical reception in Challengers and recent Knives Out sequel adds momentum behind his second-place standing, while Lowden’s Slow Horses profile keeps him competitive despite slightly softer positioning. An official announcement is anticipated before year-end, with the “no Bond chosen” outcome reflecting ongoing uncertainty in this high-stakes casting process.
This market will resolve to “Yes” if the listed actor is officially announced as the next James Bond actor by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. This market will resolve based on the first official announcement of who will be the next James Bond, regardless of any changes made thereafter. If no actor is announced as the next Bond within the timeframe, this market will resolve to "No Bond chosen". The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Amazon MGM Studios. However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
