This market will resolve to "Curtis Blaydes" if Curtis Blaydes is officially declared the winner of the fight against Waldo Cortes Acosta at Noche UFC: Silva vs. Delgado, scheduled for September 12, 2026. It will resolve to "Waldo Cortes Acosta" if Waldo Cortes Acosta is officially declared the winner. If the fight is declared a draw or technical draw, ruled a No Contest, not scored, canceled, or postponed beyond September 26, 2026, this market will resolve "50-50." The resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC.
Both heavyweights enter the Noche UFC main-card bout off recent unanimous decision losses, with Waldo Cortes-Acosta (17-3) rebounding from a May defeat to Alexander Volkov after a three-fight knockout streak that included Derrick Lewis. Curtis Blaydes (19-6) looks to halt an alternating win-loss pattern following his April loss to Josh Hokit. Cortes-Acosta holds the edge in current rankings and striking volume, while Blaydes relies on superior takedown volume and veteran grappling to control fights. The matchup pits Cortes-Acosta’s power and durability against Blaydes’ experience in a division where recent form and wrestling defense often dictate outcomes. No major injuries have been reported ahead of the September 12 event in Glendale.
